Join us for a day of deep practice, silence, and reflection centered on the cultivation of loving kindness and compassion through the Tibetan Buddhist tradition. This retreat will explore practices that help open the heart, strengthen compassion for ourselves and others, and cultivate the awakened qualities of kindness, patience, and connection.
Through guided meditation, contemplative reflection, and mantra recitation, participants will spend the day developing loving kindness as both a meditation practice and a way of relating to the world. Whether you are new to Tibetan Buddhism or an experienced practitioner, this retreat offers an opportunity to deepen your meditation practice within a supportive community setting.
Retreat Schedule:
3–4 Meditation Sits: Guided and silent meditation sessions focused on loving kindness, compassion, and bodhicitta practices.
Mantra Recitation: Group chanting and mantra practice to support the cultivation of compassion and an open heart.
Periods of Silence: Noble silence will be observed throughout much of the retreat to support mindfulness and inner reflection.
Potluck Lunch: Please bring a dish to share, along with a note listing ingredients for those with allergies or dietary sensitivities.
Closing Dedication & Aspiration Prayers: Concluding the retreat by dedicating the merit of practice for the benefit of all beings.
This retreat is an opportunity to slow down, reconnect with your practice, and experience the collective support and peace that emerge through shared silence and compassionate intention. We look forward to practicing together. Please email Zee for additional information.
